Visual Magnetics®, developer of the revolutionary Visual Magnetics Graphic System™ that matches magnetic-receptive technologies with high-quality print media, has announced the launch of its new Digital Veneers Collection of MagnaMedia, which will feature new woodgrain finish products with a 100 percent FSC certified cellulose base that is dye-sublimation printed with popular wood grain patterns then encapsulated in a durable resin finish. The first three products in the line are VM-Maple™12, VM-Oak™12 and VM-Walnut™12.
The Digital Veneers Collection is not only a natural choice for POS signage but also for architectural and design applications across markets including healthcare, hospitality, retail, education, and visual merchandising to name a few. All products in the Digital Veneer Collection feature a durable printable surface and a cellulose base material manufactured using sustainable forestry practices. The products’ woodgrain surface is printable with a wide range of digital and analog print technologies, while the reverse side has Visual Magnetics’ patented magnetic-receptive surface that attracts to its InvisiLock® custom engineered sheet magnet.
The Visual Magnetics Graphic System components include ActiveWall® Micro-Iron™ wall primer, MagnaMedia Micro-Iron coated print media and fabrics, and InvisiLock magnet, which may be applied to virtually any surface, incorporated into frames and fixtures, or simply mounted directly to a wall when used in combination with ActiveWall® primer. Once InvisiLock is applied, users can easily roll graphics printed on any MagnaMedia product to achieve instant, high-quality signage and displays.
VM-Maple12, VM-Oak12, and VM-Walnut12 are ideal for producing high-resolution natural photo and artwork reproductions, rich tone wall murals, customized architectural woodwork and POP signage. Like all MagnaMedia, products in the Digital Veneer line inspire the creation of displays that can be effortlessly updated, easily installed, layered, transported, stored, or recycled.
“Visual Magnetics has revolutionized the POP and wallcovering markets by enabling the creation of photo-quality graphics that can be updated virtually effortlessly. Now we are launching a line of materials designed for the architecture and design market sector,” said Joe Deetz, CEO of Visual Magnetics. “The Digital Veneers Collection will allow the A+D community to create customized, natural woodgrain graphics that can be installed and changed out as easily as our traditional MagnaMedia products. We are excited to show this product at SGIA and think customers will be very impressed with the finished product.”
All MagnaMedia®, including Digital Veneers, will be recycled into energy and new steel production when returned to Visual Magnetics, per its “Recycling Retired Graphics” program.
