Due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, the Society for Experiential Graphic Design (SEGD) will not be holding the 2020 SEGD Conference Experience Portland. Conference events including the Academic Summit, Achievement Awards, Global Design Awards, and Auction for Excellence will be held as virtual programs. Dates and registration information will be announced at a later date.
“The safety and well-being of our members is our primary concern,” says Anna Crider, SEGD Board President and Principal at Entro. “After carefully monitoring the COVID-19 developments and advice of government agencies, it has become clear that in the best interest of our members, sponsors, exhibitors, and speakers to cancel the conference. Our focus will be on supporting our members through this uncertain economic time period by providing relevant and inspirational content in formats that are responsive to the current conditions.”
UPDATE: The 2021 Conference will be held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and the 2022 Conference will be held in Portland, Oregon.
