An established strategic partnership between Canon Solutions America, a wholly owned subsidiary of Canon U.S.A., Inc., and both the University of Notre Dame and Notre Dame Athletics, is in full effect at the university’s on-site print shop. A new video produced by Notre Dame Global Partnerships and filmed on the Canon EOS R5 C full-frame mirrorless cinema camera shows 559 Canon devices in action and used across the entire South Bend, Indiana-based campus.
Canon Solutions America, the exclusive office management provider of the Fighting Irish, caters to the program’s twenty Division I sports programs by helping to support students, faculty, and staff with on-site resources. The video highlights Canon’s contributions to Notre Dame’s efforts towards utilizing sustainable technology, solutions, and services.
“We are proud to serve as the exclusive office management provider for Notre Dame Athletics,” said Peter P. Kowalczuk, president, Canon Solutions America. “Providing on-campus support for [their on-site print shop] that has complex needs is an important responsibility, and we are pleased that Canon Solutions America can assist in delivering for the staff, student-athletes, and fans.”
Designed to allow the university to benefit from many production initiatives—encompassing game-day activities to document management—Notre Dame’s alliance with Canon also includes the use of Canon high-definition broadcast cameras for telecasts and in-game entertainment.
