For nearly 40 years, Sign Builder Illustrated (SBI) has been committed to helping sign shops succeed by providing quality, how-to editorial content. This year, we will take that commitment one step further at the ISA Expo through on-site education, workshop sponsorship, on-the-floor interviews and a commitment to the Sign Research Foundation.
On Tuesday, April 22nd, SBI will be the media sponsor for the Make it Happen Signage Academy’s “The Signage Bootcamp.” A year ago, we committed to endorsing and supporting these fast-growing and critically important workshops. We believe in them and the Make It Happen leadership team. Their workshops fill up quickly, so check it out now.
On Thursday, April 24th, at 2:15 p.m in the ISA Learning Lounge, the “Behind the Signs” podcast hosts Elizabeth Arenella Toynes and Joe Arenella will lead a discussion with Wendy Graves, Partner of Make it Happen Signage Academy and an International Sign Association staff member about the training options available in the signage industry. In the sessions entitled “Behind the Sign Podcast – Signage Education: The Industry’s Missing Piece,” Graves and ISA will address the challenge of finding dedicated educational resources within the sign industry, which often lacks formalized schooling. Additionally, the International Sign Association staff member will highlight various resources offered by ISA, including webinars, ISA’s Learning Hub, in-person classroom education and various peer networking opportunities.
Stop by our booth, 2350, to pick up the latest SBI issue and meet with the SBI team. If you time it right, you might also meet this year’s Young Sign Makers, whom we will be interviewing at our booth. They are a brilliant and talented group of young sign professionals who will be shaping the future of our industry.
We proudly announce that during the ISA Expo, SBI will be recognized as a Bronze-level donor of the Sign Research Foundation. Our support, and that of other donors, will help SRF continue its critically important work in supporting the sign community and the communities our industry serves.
