Dick Develin, technical field specialist, has retired from Gemini Incorporated. Develin joined the company in 1990 and was responsible for an area that covered New York City and New England. Sean Boyle will take over the territory.
Inca Digital has appointed Paul Massey as director of customer support. Massey will head up the company’s network of global technical support engineers. He previously worked as national support manager for Technotrans.
InLighten® announces that it has acquired the AidaVision™ digital signage division of GRFI, Ltd., a Chicago-based firm specializing in retail merchandising. The acquisition contributes to the rapid expansion of inLighten’s digital media network.
Mutoh America Inc. has hired Kimber Johnson as marketing manager. Johnson will create advertisement material, maintain Mutoh’s Web site, expand Mutoh’s Business Builder, and manage the tradeshow and advertisement budgets. Johnson previously worked as creative director for Lamb Creative.
Power Sources Unlimited, Inc. has acquired the assets of 1U Power LLC. The acquisition will close in late December 2010 and will enhance Power Source’s customer base, aggressive marketing campaign, build-out strategy and provide the opportunity for accelerated market share and future growth in sales and profitability.
Prism has hired Luther Erlund as North American sales manager. Erlund will cover all of North America and emphasize flexo labels and converters. He will contribute to industry associations with opinions and expertise in this area, as well.
Signs by Tomorrow has appointed Ramon “Ray” L. Palmer as the new president. Palmer has been involved with Signs By Tomorrow for ten years, as a franchisee and as a member and chairperson of Signs By Tomorrow’s Franchise Advisory Council.
