LMT Onsrud LP is announcing a newly designed website launched April 30, 2018.
Highlighting the significant renovation of the site is the cleaner and more organized presentation of product and detailed product information. Through the use of enhanced filtering technology, expanded tooling search capabilities have been incorporated allowing for quicker product search and location. This organization will also allow for quicker, more accurate ordering as well. The new site will also be mobile ready, easily viewed across phones, tablets, and desktop computers.
“We really tried to take a ‘spindle-back’ approach to re-designing our website,” said LMT Onsrud’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Mark Hemmerling. “It’s the approach we use when we develop new tools, so it came naturally to design the site in a similar fashion. As it does at the spindle, we started by answering the same question machinists always start with when selecting their tools. ‘What material needs to be machined?’ From there, the site really evolved nicely.”
In addition to the modernization efforts on the site and the updated search functionality, LMT Onsrud also took great care to make the new site a more valuable resource for its network of distributors.
LMT Onsrud’s Marketing Manager, Fred Phillips, explained, “We know our distributor partners are always very busy. We believe that if we can help them save even a few minutes in the processing of an order or locating the correct tool, we can deliver more value to them and help them to deliver more value to their customers as well.”
With this in mind, the new site allows distributors to save key information from previous orders to their account for swifter recall. In addition, more technical resource information, videos and other customer resources have been added.
Summarizing the new site, Hemmerling closed with, “In 2018, it’s not enough to just make a great product. You have to make it easy to do business with your company. The new site goes a long way to make it even easier to do business with LMT Onsrud, and we’re all very proud of that!”
