The Northeast States Sign Association (NSSA) has announced the cancellation of its 2020 NSSA Sign Expo that was scheduled to take place July 30-31 at the Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut. NSSA Executive Director Jean Gavigan released the following statement:
“As we work through this challenging time and aim to make the best decisions for the Northeast States Sign Association and the companies that support NSSA, it became increasingly apparent to the NSSA Board of Directors that it would not be in the best interest of everyone involved to go forward with the 2020 NSSA Sign Expo scheduled for July 30-31 at Foxwoods Resort Casino. The NSSA Board values our relationships with all our association’s supporters and the health and safety of everyone is our top priority. We regret that we will not be able to hold this annual event that brings together northeast sign companies and the suppliers and distributors that support us.
“Plans are already in the works for our 2021 event. Once we finalize the details, we will share them with you. Our aim is to have a bigger and better event next year with more opportunities for more exhibitors and more attendees to get to know each other and the products and technologies that make the sign industry essential to the business community.”
Gavigan continued, “The aim is to get us all back to business. If you have questions about NSSA and the NSSA Expo or if I can be of any help in the future, please contact me directly. NSSA is always working to promote the sign industry and to help you continue to grow and succeed in your business. The NSSA Directors and I look forward to seeing you again in the near future.”
