The Awards Keep Coming for ISA Sign Expo

ISA International Sign Expo continues to earn accolades, including recent awards for graphic design and for the overall growth of the show. This comes as ISA International Sign Expo 2018 has announced an expanded tradeshow floor, its largest ever.

ISA International Sign Expo 2016 recently was named to Trade Show Executive’s Gold 100, a list hailing ISA Sign Expo one of the top 100 tradeshows based on net square feet of paid exhibit space.

“It is an honor to again be included on Trade Show Executive’s Gold 100 list,” said Iain Mackenzie, ISA’s vice president of meetings and events. “Each year, the competition is fierce, but making this list showcases the growth in the sign, graphics and visual communications industry. It also recognizes ISA International Sign Expo as the only place to see the breadth of products aimed at this dynamic industry.”

ISA International Sign Expo marketing aims to capture the excitement of the event with cutting-edge ideas that reflect the creativity of the industry. Several marketing projects have earned recent national awards.

ISA International Sign Expo 2017’s augmented reality postcard and the Let’s Get Graphic advertising campaign earned honors as part of the American Graphic Design Awards. AGDA recognized only 15 percent of the roughly 10,000 entries that were submitted. ISA’s 2016 annual report, Rise and Shine Progress Report, also earned an award from AGDA.

The International Association of Exhibitions and Events™ IAEE Art of the Show named ISA International Sign Expo’s attendance promotion campaign as first place for tradeshows over 200,001 net square feet. IAEE Art of the Show annually honors the creative use of several essential marketing elements needed to promote exhibitions and events.

“There is no doubt that ISA International Sign Expo ups the ante each year,” said Alicia Auerswald, ISA’s vice president of marketing, membership and communications. “Being recognized for creatively bringing the energy and experience of ISA Sign Expo to life through our digital and print marketing effort makes us so proud. We’re representing such a creative industry and these awards further highlight the sign, graphics and visual communications industry to a broader audience of visual communications professionals. Most importantly, though, the marketing effort has delivered results as ISA Sign Expo continues to grow in attendees and tradeshow space.”

ISA International Sign Expo 2018 will keep the pressure on. Already, ISA has announced that its tradeshow will be larger than ever before. This comes after the 2017 event topped 20,500 attendees and a tradeshow floor that sold out months in advance.

ISA International Sign Expo 2018 will be March 22-24, with education starting on March 21, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla. Registration is open at www.signexpo.org.
