The call is out for presentation abstracts for FP3: Functional Printing, Process and Products, a new conference from the Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA). FP3 will launch outside Chicago, June 4–6, 2018.
“The FP3 Conference is all about innovation and exploring technologies and concepts. We’ll be highlighting innovations for tomorrow’s products that can be applied to your processes today,” said Joyia Marshall, SGIA Community Development Manager. “Speaking at FP3 is the best way for industry thought leaders to start conversations that could lead to the next big idea.”
The conference, designed by SGIA’s Industrial Applications and Printed Electronics Committee, will consist of three tracks — printed electronics, business topics and industrial topics — and will include a trade show component. All session submissions will be reviewed by experts from the committee.
“Speaking at FP3 is as good for your brand as it is for the industry,” Marshall added. “You’ll be presenting to and interacting with high-level executives and thought leaders. These are people who can turn your ideas into innovations.”
The presentations should be 20 minutes long with additional time for questions and answers. They’ll be organized in three tracks:
- Printed Electronics (Suggested topic areas include: smart surfaces, internet of things, flexible and stretchable)
- Business Topics (Suggested topic areas include: challenges and opportunities, human resources, winning strategies, adapting your business)
- Industrial Topics (Suggested topic areas include: materials, methods (standards), machines, digital additive)
To submit a session abstract for consideration, use the online form. Abstracts must be received by February 12, and speakers will be notified of their abstract’s acceptance or refusal by February 28.
