The February 2024 digital edition of Sign Builder Illustrated featuring the latest dimensional signage, graphics, and retrofit projects is now available to read!
This month’s cover story details the sign replacement for a Colorado ski resort. The previously standing sign had been damaged by snow removal crews. Not only did the sign makers have to design and CNC-carve a new HDU sign that will avoid such types of accidents in the future, but they also had to deal with working with an insurance claim (an adventure in its own right).
We also will be covering how Right Way Signs of Chicago painted of a bold, colorful mural on an exterior wall of the headquarters of wagon-and-bike institution Radio Flyer. Learn the details behind how this was accomplished, resulting in a mural for all ages!
Other stories in our February 2024 digital edition include a wayfinding specialist developing and installing interior branding for a civil engineering firm’s new Boston office that includes historical neighborhood photos and company objectives, the LED retrofit of the long-standing, large-sized “Wendover Will” neon cowboy sign straddling the Nevada and Utah border, a review of the signage changes made in the latest version of the MUTCD (Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices), and advice for helping installers, designers, fabricators, and shop owners price signs.
