Sherwin-Williams General Industrial will be showcasing 150 years of coatings expertise and service at the 2023 ISA International Sign Expo, happening in Las Vegas, Nevada, April 12-14. The Company will exhibit a variety of innovative products and processes, including the Lustral Translucent system and GENESIS® mix bank. Attendees are also invited to stop by the Sherwin-Williams booth throughout the show for the chance to win an Express Color Reader PRO or Sign Color Toolkit, designed specifically for sign coatings.
As one of the only manufacturer direct suppliers in the industry, Sherwin-Williams delivers the benefits of a global company on a local level. In-house sign finishing experts and local, company-owned facilities across North America give Sherwin-Williams the ability to quickly satisfy customer requests with standard or custom-matched colors. With innovative coatings technologies, Sherwin-Williams expertly covers the entire sign production process from start to finish.
“Sign manufacturers are continuously challenged to deliver high-quality finishes with shorter and shorter lead times,” said John Morey, Global Director for Sherwin-Williams General Industrial. “We understand that, and over the years, we’ve continued to innovate our products and enhance our services to create a truly differentiated offering that allows finishers to complete their work in less time. The Sherwin-Williams General Industrial team is very excited to show ISA attendees the advancements we’ve made in both our technologies and services, and we look forward to making new connections in the industry.”
Sherwin-Williams is also the only coatings provider to make color matching more consistent between solid and translucent colors by relying on the GENESIS® mixing system and mix bank. Designed with sign applicators in mind, the Lustral Translucent system utilizes the existing GENESIS mixing bank, which conveniently converts any GENESIS® Lustral solid color into a translucent coating. This streamlined approach to mixing coatings not only saves time, cost and inventory space, it also delivers successful color continuity in just one step – compared to traditional multistep systems.
Sherwin-Williams products use automotive-grade pigments and urethane chemistries to deliver superior UV and weather protection. These innovative formulas have been used to enhance and protect some of the most iconic landmarks in the country, including the historic Hollywood sign, which the company helped refurbish late last year in partnership with the Hollywood Sign Trust.
“At Sherwin-Williams General Industrial Coatings, our mission is to protect and enhance manufactured goods responsibly,” added Morey. “We’re committed to innovating and driving sustainability across our industry and providing performance-differentiated products in colors that inspire the world.”
At the 2023 expo, show attendees will have multiple chances to win at the Sherwin-Williams booth (#2359).
