In a new video from Epson, Mark Sunderland and Hitoshi Ujiie of Jefferson University’s School of Design and Engineering discuss the impact of digital fabric printing on the fashion industry.
As Mark Sunderland, high-performance apparel chair, says in the video, “Being able to customize garments, being able to change and pivot ideas – that’s how digital printing changes the world for a fashion designer.”
The unique collaboration – built on Jefferson University’s knowledge and expertise in fabrics and Epson’s advancements in direct-to-garment and dye-sublimation technology – aims to cultivate innovation in the fashion and textile industry.
