Sign Manufacturing Day 2017—now in its fifth year—addresses one of the most persistent challenges in the industry: finding the next generation of workers.
Seventy-two participating locations will open their doors to teach more than 3,700 secondary, community and technical school students about careers in the industry. See the full list at www.signs.org/mfgday.
As a result of Sign Manufacturing Day, past participants have made hires or built relationships with schools in the area, leading to internships, co-ops and job shadows.
Many sign, graphics and visual communications companies are participating in Sign Manufacturing Day for the first time this year. Sign up to participate next year by emailing [email protected].
