The United States Sign Council (USSC) recently honored Andrew Wolf of Diversified Display Products in Hillside, New Jersey for his “Distinguished Service” to the Council. Mr. Wolf has been involved in the work of the USSC for a number of years as an exhibitor. His enthusiasm for the show is apparent in that he has been influential in bringing a number of new exhibitors into Sign World International.
The Distinguished Service Award goes to an individual from the product manufacturer, distributor, manufacturer’s rep, or service support categories of membership. These individuals are the unsung heroes of the sign industry—always the first to be asked for assistance and often the last to be thanked. The USSC Board recognizes that without their support it would be difficult to provide the many member services that we offer to our sign companies.
Wolf would tell you that he did it because it was good for the industry and he was only too happy to help out. His generosity of time and influence as well as his enthusiasm for the work of the Council is what “distinguishes” Andrew Wolf and made him an obvious choice for this award.
The United States Sign Council is an association of sign professionals dedicated to providing research and education to all who are involved in the sign industry. Membership is open to any person or firm concerned with the advancement of the sign industry, particularly as such advancement impacts professional growth, positive public perception, and on-going educational and training programs.
