Joseph (Joe) Godri has joined Daktronics as a sales representative, serving sign companies, businesses and high schools for customers in Pennsylvania. Godri brings a wealth of experience to the company, both in collegiate athletics and his time as a regional sales manager for Rocky Patel Premium Cigars and Promotions.
Godri joined the team in late 2020 and will work alongside customers on their digital signage and audio needs.
“Joe brings his dynamic collegiate athletic experience with the three cornerstone universities in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to our customer base,” explains Mark Meyer, Daktronics region manager for the area. “I’m excited for our customers to be able to work with Joe as they brainstorm how digital signage can impact their businesses and schools.”
Godri comes to Daktronics from his role at Athletic Director at Penn State-Schuylkill. Before serving as AD, he was the Head Baseball Coach at Villanova University for 15 years, where he mentored players, 40+ of which were drafted or signed contracts for professional teams. He also spent time as assistant baseball coach at the University of Utah as well as New Mexico State University. Godri played his collegiate baseball at Colorado State and Chipola Junior College in Marianna, Fla. After finishing his degree as a graduate assistant at the University of Pittsburgh with his bachelor’s degree in education, Godri went on to receive a master’s degree in marketing and management from New Mexico State.
