YESCO, the 101-year-old company known for creating, repairing, and maintaining internationally recognizable signs, announces the fabrication and installation of a new media wall display at Security National in Murray, Utah.
The new display installed by YESCO is located on the top south section of the building and wraps around to the east.
The installation included a Daktronics Freeform LED media wall with 131 vertical rows and 1,040 horizonal columns and measures 21-feet tall and 86-feet wide.
One unique feature of the Daktronics Freeform LED sticks is that they allow a level of transparency—in this case, greater than 75 percent. Employees from inside the building will still have a view of the mountains instead of a structure blocking the view.
The first and largest Freeform display in Salt Lake County along the I-15 corridor and the second largest Freeform display in the state.
It took approximately 800 man-hours to complete the project.
“We are excited to complete this media wall project for Security National as it will be one of the first transparent displays in the state,” said Ben Olson, account manager at YESCO.
