The LM-30-8-5S-6X600LTL-LED-EW-E18-SM-RD five stage telescoping steel light mast with electric winch from Larson Electronics is designed to quickly and safely deploy 3,000 watts of intense LED lighting in locations where elevated illumination is needed for maximum area coverage. This mast is equipped with six 500 watt LED lights that produce a wide spread of intense white light, allowing this unit to effectively cover large work areas with high quality illumination.
The light heads on this tower are wet area-suitable high-output LED fixtures that produce a combined total of approximately 360,000 lumens at 3000 watts. These lamps have a copper free aluminum alloy body that is powder coated for added durability and aesthetics.
This light boom can be extended to thirty feet for maximum area coverage, collapsed to eleven feet, and is constructed of square steel tubing in different dimensions for each section. The mast is operated with a handheld wired push button switch pendant remote control hard wired to the cube frame control box, allowing operators to raise or lower the mast with the push of a button. All of the controls and electronics for this mast are housed within an aluminum NEMA 3R control panel.
This skid-mounted LED lighting system is equipped with 200 feet of 10/4 chemical and abrasion-resistant SOOW cord that is fitted with an industrial grade cord cap for easy connection to local electrical circuits. Cable management is provided by a manual roll up drum mounted within the steel cube frame that provides storage for the 200-foot power cable when not in use.
The thirty-foot tower and assembly is powder coated with a glossy blue finish for corrosion resistance and aesthetics.
The mast is bolted onto a 1/8-inch-thick carbon steel plate via six 1/3-inch anchor bolts.
The mast and controls are secured within a cube-style frame constructed of 2-by-2-by-1/8-inch-thick and measuring 48 inches wide-by-48 inches long-by-53 inches tall.
Four 4-1/2-foot slide out outriggers with 1,200 pounds manual crank leveling jacks allow operators to anchor the unit down, providing stability during deployment. Skid pockets allow this unit to be picked up from the sides, and four-corner eyelets allow for stable deployment via crane operation.
A 96-inch-wide and 2-by-2-by-1/4-inch-thick mounting plate is attached to the upper section of the mast, which provides a strong and stable platform for the four LED fixtures.
“This new design of our already popular light masts provides operators with a more mobile and stable solution,” said Rob Bresnahan with Larsonelectronics.com. “This mast was designed for heavy duty use and built to withstand the rigors of wet, abusive conditions.”
