Agfa Graphics is hosting an Open House at its City of Industry, California, demonstration facility and will reveal how the company’s packaging technology and digital printing solutions can help businesses grow. The Open House event is taking place on May 6 and 7, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Open House attendees can learn more about the benefits and opportunities offered by the JETvarnish and iFOIL from MGI. These solutions produce raised 3D and hot foil stamped effects creating visually stunning and tactile pieces that allows printers to differentiate themselves.
The JETvarnish 3D provides printers with true value-added services for 3D raised effects or traditional flat spot UV coating applied to short run packaging and prototyping.
The iFOIL digital embossing and hot foil stamping solution eliminates the need for films, dies and makeready, allowing you to produce jobs from one to thousands with very high profitability and ease of use.

The Open House will also feature finishing demonstrations of the Esko Kongsberg XP24 cutting table, Esko prepress workflow and Artious CAD software. Additionally, Agfa Graphics’ Jeti Titan HS and Anapurna M2500i systems will be showcased.
The Jeti Titan HS, a six-color UV inkjet indoor and outdoor wide-format printing system, features the lowest ink consumption in its class, reducing total cost of ownership, and comes standard with double white ink, with primer or varnish as options. The Anapurna M2500i, a hybrid printing system with in-line white, provides high print production with dual board printing and has roll-to-roll capability.
