Avery Dennison announced it has appointed Nick Tucci, vice president, sales, Materials Group North America. It also announced the appointment of Patricia Hubbard, vice president, R&D, Materials Group North America.
In his role, Nick Tucci will lead the business’s field sales, technical sales, customer service, and technical support teams for Label and Packaging Materials.
“Nick’s success leading one of our smaller, global businesses has been highlighted by his emphasis on product differentiation and customer intimacy,” said Georges Gravanis, president of Avery Dennison Materials Group. “This, plus his proven track record at Avery Dennison, sets him up for success in this role.”
Tucci brings twenty-two years of experience in the company to this new role. Tucci has held a wide variety of leadership roles in procurement, finance, product re-engineering, and the films product line. Most recently, Tucci led Avery Dennison’s Reflective Solutions business — as general manager and vice president. In this role, Tucci was recognized as leader of the year in 2015.
Tucci received his bachelor’s degree in Business and Finance from Miami University of Ohio and an MBA from the Case Western Reserve University Weatherhead School of Management. Tucci will be based in Mentor, Ohio.
Patti Hubbard will lead the business in new product development for growth and material re-engineering, drive innovation through a globally connected R&D agenda and oversee the R&D lab and pilot assets for both the LPM and Graphics Solutions businesses.

Hubbard joins Avery Dennison from PolyOne where she held the position of VP, corporate technology. Other roles with PolyOne include leading a global specialty engineered materials business as technology director. Previous to PolyOne, she held various R&D positions at General Electric.
Hubbard obtained a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Case Western Reserve University and a Ph.D. in Polymer Science from the University of Akron. Patti will be based in Mentor, Ohio.
