Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions announced today that 36 vehicle wrap installers and graphics professionals passed the Avery Dennison wrap certification test from July – December 2015.
In total, 50 installers passed the wrap certification test in 2015. To become an Avery Dennison Certified Wrap Installer (CWI), applicants must pass a test designed and administered by Justin Pate, an internationally renowned installer and Avery Dennison wrap training instructor. The exam includes five modules: a written exam, hands-on vehicle wrap installation demonstration, fender door/window installation and a cutting test.
“Avery Dennison is proud that a record number of installers from throughout the U.S. and Canada were certified in 2015,” said Roxanne McSpadden, marketing director, Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions. “To support the Avery Dennison CWIs, an elite group of professional installers that have demonstrated their expertise, we provide a comprehensive marketing kit so they can share their certification accomplishment.”

We want them to feel confident in their car wrap installation skills and proudly display the CWI logo to represent their hard work.”
The Find an Installer feature on the Avery Dennison website provides car wrap installers with leads by enabling customers to locate an Avery Dennison certified installer in the U.S. and Canada, as well as view photos of wraps the installer has completed. There are no annual fees associated with the tool or the CWI program.
There are 15 wrap certification tests scheduled in 2016 in various cities across the U.S. and Canada. Many vehicle wrap installers take the one-day exam following the two-day Avery Dennison Digital Films class or Supreme Wrapping Film™ Workshop.
