AXYZ International, a global leader in manufacturing CNC router and knife cutting systems, will be exhibiting its PANELBuilder 17 solution at METALCON 2016 (Metal Construction Products Expo) October 26-28 at the Baltimore Convention Center in Baltimore, Maryland.
By combining an advanced, easy-to-use software solution with a custom machine design, PANELBuilder is the most sophisticated, all-in-one panel fabrication solution on the market. It has been upgraded with new features specifically designed to make the software easier to use and the process more productive. “With this release we are introducing PANELTracker, which will keep track of panels through the manufacturing process,” said John Donaldson, New Business Development Manager for AXYZ International. “Through this live data tracking, users will know exactly where they stand on the particular job and whether they’re going to meet their time frames.”
Designed exclusively for ACM (aluminum composite material) fabricators, PANELBuilder allows users to quickly and easily develop a library of panels using the built-in powerful parametric modeling, through the use of a built-in CAD drawing package or by importing existing drawings via DXF or DWG formats. The software then automatically generates machine toolpaths for cutting all of the panels. The custom machine design provides dual and triple head configurations ideally suited to the processing of composite material. “The software uses parametric modeling. In addition, users can achieve pendulum processing through extending the length of the machine, allowing one machine to produce nearly the volume of two machines, with our PANELBuilder solution,” said Donaldson.
