Dscoop, the largest digital printing user group in the graphics industry, is reporting that Dscoop’s new policy of extending free membership to all HP Graphics customers makes it easier for more companies to take advantage of this outstanding educational and networking opportunity. Its full conference agenda is now available online at DscoopSanAntonio.org. The event is scheduled for April 14-16 in San Antonio, Texas.
The standard conference price of $979 ends on March 31, and the new price of $1,099 begins on April 1. Lock in your savings today and guarantee your seat at the most dynamic digital printing event of the year.
Dscoop’s conference is the event of the year for learning, connecting and collaborating among members, thought leaders, partners and HP. Dscoop San Antonio will be a packed three days of business development, networking, and knowledge sharing.
“We are very excited about our keynotes speakers this year,” said John Rogers, Dscoop’s global executive director. “The conference opens at 2 PM on April 14 with Apple co-founder, Steve Wozniak, followed by author, TV commentator and master networker, Laura Schwartz, who will inspire attendees to new levels of innovation and leadership. We are also excited to have Shark Tank’s Kevin O’Leary, ESPN football analyst Herm Edwards, producer and strategist Andrew Davis, of The Today Show, musician Rich Redmond, and innovation catalyst Toni Newman on the program. This outstanding lineup will have something for everyone and should raise the conference energy level to new heights. Go to www.dscoopsanantonio.org to see the full schedule.
Inspiration
The 2016 conference will also feature five tracks, delivering an engaging and focused educational experience that will cover a diverse range of topics and product areas. These include:
* Leadership and Strategy, specifically designed for C-suite executives and managers and focused on critical business issues, technology and leadership strategies relevant to today’s leaders;
* Marketing and Sales, where professionals can rub shoulders with the brightest and most successful of their kind to learn new ideas for improving business results;
* Operations, dedicated to improving process and technical knowledge with fresh, cutting-edge material designed to help improve efficiencies and profits;
* Technology and Innovation, where attendees from a broad range of disciplines can explore the opportunities and challenges of various innovative solutions at a global scale that can drive their business future; and
* Collaboration, a platform for industry thought leaders to share best practices, successes and challenges, giving attendees the ability to hear first-hand how others in the trenches are building creative and unique businesses.
“This is gearing up to be the best Dscoop conference ever,” Rogers added, “and is the single most important event of the year for the HP Graphics community. Each year we try to top the last, and this time we have done that without a doubt.”
Innovation
“The conference will also feature one of the largest Solutions Showcases we have ever had,” Rogers continues, “With HP calling Dscoop San Antonio their North American drupa, they are using the opportunity to introduce all of their drupa announcements for our North American audience, not the least of which is PrintOS, HP’s latest cloud-based operating system for streamlining the print production workflow and the only one of its kind. Very Exciting!”
“A number of our other partners are also showcasing new offerings, which helps make our event the go-to place to see the latest innovations in the industry. The brand new Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center has given us much needed space to expand our Solutions Showcase,” says Ed Wiegand, a Dscoop North America Board member. “And of course, no Dscoop conference would be complete without a keynote from HP providing insight into market trends and a pre-drupa HP update. At Dscoop San Antonio, Christoph Schell, president of HP’s Americas region, will do the honors.”
Giving Back
“An exciting new aspect of this year’s conference are the Give Back programs,” Rogers explains. “The conference will be a key platform for encouraging our members to give back to the local San Antonio community. We have three different opportunities, including a charity poker event, with proceeds going to Habitat for Humanity; an Education Day where attendees are encouraged to bring crayons, coloring books and story books that, along with HP-printed personalized coloring books, will be donated to primary grade students in local San Antonio schools; and a Build-a-Bike event where teams will build bikes for local kids in need. We will also be holding a job fair designed to connect students with prospective employers and to encourage others to consider exciting careers in the graphic arts industry. We know our generous community will wholeheartedly support these charitable initiatives.”
