HP Inc. announced that Duggal Visual Solutions, Inc., the award-winning producer of print, digital imaging, multimedia, wide-format graphics and graphic displays, has installed the HP Indigo 12000 Digital Press in the heart of New York City. The press is the only B2-format HP Indigo digital press in Manhattan and the first commercially-released HP Indigo 12000 installed in the U.S.
The HP Indigo 12000 offers production speeds up to 4,600 20×29-inch sheets per hour, high-definition printing, plus seven-color capability, including HP Indigo ElectroInk White and Fluorescent Inks. Installing this press in Manhattan at 29 W. 23rd St. allows Duggal to provide an unprecedented application range and just-in-time production capabilities to leading creative agencies, designers and brands.
As a trusted advisor in the way clients communicate visually with their audiences, Duggal is excited to share the capabilities of the HP Indigo 12000, including the ability to print on synthetics, canvas, window clings, metalized and colored substrates, as well as print on non-certified substrates with HP Indigo ElectroInk Primer. The HP Indigo 12000 also expands Duggal’s production volume in commercial printing applications, such as point-of-sale graphics, brochures, books, catalogs and display applications.
“Our team of graphic professionals and print industry veterans is committed to providing the highest level of service and quality. With that as our mission, we’ve found in the HP Indigo 12000 a better alternative to traditional offset printing for short-to-medium-run commercial printing needs,” said Mike Duggal, CEO, Duggal Visual Solutions, Inc. “We have a long relationship with HP based on our mutual desire for continued innovation, and the HP Indigo 12000 exemplifies that dedication to our customers, allowing us to provide more versatile, creative and efficient printing services.”
Since its incorporation in 1963, Duggal has attracted a clientele including Fortune 500 companies, luxury brands, fashion retailers, museums, galleries, designers and photographers. The HP Indigo 12000 Digital Press meets the high quality and productivity demands of Duggal’s elite customer base and enables the company to cost-effectively produce short-to-medium runs that fulfill the expectation for quick turnaround and delivery.
The HP Indigo 12000 Digital Press joins Duggal’s existing fleet of HP large-format digital printing technology, including four HP Latex printers, as well as an HP Indigo 5900 Digital Press, enhancing the company’s position at the forefront of the printing and visual communication industries.
Investing in HP digital printing technology is also an important part of Duggal’s environmental sustainability initiatives, as the HP Indigo 12000 Digital Press is manufactured carbon neutral to offset carbon emissions and reduce environmental impact.
“Duggal is a pioneering force in the industry, consistently adopting cutting-edge technologies that have attracted a who’s who of the world’s leading brands and enabled them to push the boundaries of quality and creativity,” said Haim Levit, vice president and general manager, Indigo North America, Graphics Solutions Business, HP Inc. “With the new HP Indigo 12000 Digital Press, Duggal continues its tradition of being an industry leader, and we look forward to collaborating with the Duggal team to bring the press’s breakthrough quality, productivity and efficiency to the creative and forward-thinking brands in New York.”
