Celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, BULBRITE will host a Mystery Guest Appearance, a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, and a Lighting Legislation Seminar, during Lightfair International 2011. BULBRITE will host these events and exhibit its extensive line of energy-efficient lamps in Booth #1753 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia.
• BULBRITE will host a 40th Anniversary Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Tuesday, May 17th at 11 AM. Free giveaways will be provided to the first 40 attendees.
• On Wednesday, May 18th, at 11 AM, a “Pioneer of the Lighting Industry” will make an exclusive mystery guest appearance at the BULBRITE booth. This world-renowned lighting celebrity will be available for photo and autograph opportunities with attendees. He will be visiting BULBRITE from 11 AM to noon, only.
• On the third day of Lightfair, Thursday, May 19th at 11 AM, Bulbrite will conduct a seminar titled “Lighting Legislation Update,” which will focus on the new laws affecting the lighting industry, including the EISA phase-out of inefficient lamps, as well as alternative energy-efficient light sources. The new Lamp Labeling Rule by the Federal Trade Commission will be discussed, as well as the differences between the FTC Lighting Label and the Department of Energy’s (DOE) Lighting Facts program.
