Canon Solutions America, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Canon U.S.A., Inc., announced the development of a new eco-friendly print program at George Mason University geared toward increasing efficiency and user satisfaction. Canon Solutions America’s Enterprise Managed Services Division designed a dynamic and robust print program that helps reduce costs while simultaneously addressing technical and environmental burdens.
The Enterprise Managed Services Division created a secure, cost-efficient, and reliable print program at George Mason University. Working to deliver the solution, the Enterprise Managed Services Division addressed unique complexities in the project’s overall scope, and put together a print program built on providing valuable efficiency gains for George Mason University.
“The collaboration between Mason and the Enterprise Managed Services Division is exciting,” said Valerie Belli, vice president, Enterprise Managed Service Division, Canon Solutions America. “To design and implement a program of this size and for a university of that stature, takes dedicated delivery and solution teams that are focused on providing a print infrastructure that can increase organizational productivity. We were fortunate that as a client, Mason is dedicated to the idea of building an innovative program for print.”
Canon Solutions America will work to discern student, departmental, and production center output needs for George Mason University and ultimately continue to enhance the solution to further help reduce costs and increase efficiency. This, in addition to an evaluation of all the output technology George Mason University currently uses, will allow Canon Solutions America to provide the right technology to support George Mason University’s needs with a high level of student, faculty, and staff satisfaction.
Canon Solutions America’s Regional Operations and Sales teams will lead strategy development and execution of the on-site management of all print and output services and solutions associated with George Mason University. Canon’s Higher Education Advisory Team (HEAT) will support the regional teams. Since its founding, HEAT has provided Canon Solutions America customers in the higher education market with benefits that include experienced account teams dedicated to addressing the evolving business challenges that the higher education industry faces.
Canon Solutions America’s education program is based on the fundamental purpose of enabling institutions to target print program results to specific financial, productivity, and environmental objectives. This all-encompassing approach gives customers, such as George Mason University, a program that is designed to integrate community goals and philanthropic priorities, in addition to creating a multifaceted business outline.
“The development of this program at George Mason is the result of the hard work of the EMSD Account Team working in tandem with the University,” said John Grecco, Sr. Director, Eastern Zone. “We’re immensely proud of the program we’re building, and look forward to future opportunities with Mason.”
