Canon Solutions America, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Canon U.S.A., Inc. announced that the first units of the Oce VarioPrint® i300, the first high-speed, sheetfed inkjet press in Canon’s portfolio, have been shipped to four customer sites in the U.S. Canon Solutions America played an integral part in introducing this important new product to the production print market, working closely with customers during the developmental and testing phases, as well as providing support during installation and training.
Based on proven inkjet technology, the Oce VarioPrint i300 fills the speed and capacity gap that exists between conventional high-end

right print solution for their needs and creates new market opportunities, applications and transforms business models.
According to Marco Boer, vice president of IT Strategies, a well-known market research and consultancy firm, “Inkjet technology’s inherent color productivity benefits have been well proven with continuous feed printing systems. The Oce VarioPrint i300 is best suited for print service providers that are looking for a cost effective sheetfed architecture, optimized for short and high frequency runs, media diversity, and flexibility. The Oce VarioPrint i300 opens an entirely new segment for the printing market and sets the base for many more advancements to come.”
