Condé Systems has expanded its line of DyeTrans SPP media to include 3.5-inch-by-6-inch dye-sub media for cell phone covers. DyeTrans pre-cut paper can be loaded directly into a dye-sub printer’s built-in paper tray or alternate paper source (e.g., optional paper feed unit or multi-bypass tray available for the Ricoh GX Series Printers) and printed by creating a User Defined Paper Size in the printer’s driver.
Once printed, the transfer can be immediately applied to the phone cover insert with heat tape or DyeTrans Pro Spray adhesive without the extra effort of first having to cut-out the transfer from a larger sheet of paper. This simple change can help digital decorators at all levels of production eliminate paper waste and drastically reduce the time and effort involved in producing cell phone covers.
DyeTrans media is an excellent all-around paper that provides superb image clarity and color on hard and soft substrates and is available in 3.5″x6″, 3.5″x9.125″, 4″x9.5″, 8.5″x11″, 8.5″x14″, 11″x17″, 13″x19″, and 17″x22″ cut sheet sizes (100 sheets/pack). In addition, 8.5″x100′, 13″x100′, 17″x100′, 24″x250′, 36″x250′, 44″x250′, 54″x250′, and 60″x250′ roll media is also available.
