The Digital Signage Federation® (DSF), the only independent not-for-profit trade organization serving the digital signage industry is pleased to recognize that its leadership and leading members were well represented among Digital Signage Today’s list of “The 11 Most Influential Executives in Digital Signage.”
That list, published last week, was the result of “input and nominations from DigitalSignageToday.com readers,” effectively a “People’s Choice Award,” for hard won accomplishments. It’s worth noting that five of them, or 50 percent of the organizations that were so recognized, are helmed by Digital Signage Federation leadership and leading members.
Here are the reasons why each of these “Influentials” is personally involved in the Digital Signage Federation:
“By meeting with, or as they say, ‘networking’ with executives from all aspects of our industry, The DSF gives me the opportunity to meet with, speak with, and listen to my contemporaries and competitors alike as well as vendors, customers, and others serving the our industry, but not perhaps within my circle of contact.” —2013 DSF Chairman – Philip M. Cohen, CEO, Care Media Holdings Corp.
“The DSF is an inclusive organization. Whether you are a network operator, a content creator, a software provider, an integrator or media executive, you have a welcoming place to be and become part of something larger than yourself or even your own company. With a clear dedication to the education and advancement of every niche in the industry, you need only look at the DSF membership list and see the real movers and shakers in the industry. —2012 DSF Chairman – Alan Brawn, Principal, Brawn Consulting
“The DSF is at the forefront of digital signage innovation and growth. As a board member, I have seen firsthand how forward-thinking leaders implement the organization’s influential activities. I am thus assured that active member companies, such as my own, can rely on the DSF’s tangible ambition to make the digital signage space a lucrative and exciting industry for those involved.” —Board Member at Large – Brian Dusho, CEO, BroadSign International
“Forums for learning, engagement and contributing, such as Digital Signage Federation, enable and empower individuals and organizations by informing, inspiring, and reducing risk…It’s good business and good fun!” —Member at Large – Lyle Bunn, Principal, The BUNN Company
“I am honored to have been included in the “11 Most Influential” list published by Digital Signage Today, along with many industry friends, including several that play an important role in leading the Digital Signage Federation. This recognition is not surprising, as those that have been involved in the DSF’s formation and growth have demonstrated an unselfish focus on the success of our industry through their DSF service. It is that leadership and service that not only makes them influential, but also extremely valuable to our young and fast-growing industry.” —Member at Large – Chris Gibbs, President & COO, Exponation, Producer of Digital Signage Expo
