The Digital Signage Federation® (DSF), the only independent not-for-profit trade organization serving the digital signage industry will host a regional networking “meet & greet” Wednesday, September 25 at Gluek’s Restaurant & Bar in downtown Minneapolis.
The event, sponsored by NEC, CastNET, Seneca Data, and Peerless-AV will run from 6pm to 9pm and feature DSF Board member-at-large Janna Rider (pictured), director of Digital Merchandising, American Dairy Queen as guest speaker.
Rider will discuss the challenges her company overcame when implementing their digital signage network, why the investment in this technology works for American Dairy Queen, and which benefits of DSF membership she and her colleagues regularly reference as resources that they find most helpful.
Attendees will have the opportunity to network with the Digital Signage Federation Board of Directors, who will be in attendance to conversationally share their business experience, enumerate industry opportunity, and discuss the benefits of membership in the Digital Signage Federation.
Philip M. Cohen, 2013 DSF Chairman and CEO, President of Care Media Holdings, said, “These meetings have been fantastic! The open dialog gives the DSF the opportunity to better support its members and welcome new members, but it has also led to positive discussion about establishing regional DSF Councils to help encourage networking and expand the Federation’s educational outreach even further.”
The event costs $15 for members and $35 for non-members, which includes drinks and appetizers.
Attendance is limited, so if you would like to attend, have a colleague in the Minneapolis area, or have a client or prospective client you feel would benefit from getting to know why our industry should be important to them—and how the DSF can help—please register, or encourage them to register ASAP on the DSF Web site.
Sponsorships positions are still available. Contact Lauren Taggart at [email protected] for more information if you are interested in sponsoring the event.
