EskoWorld Session: End User Interaction Through Online File Editing
On Monday, June 15 at 11 am; Bram Verniest, COO, CHILI Publish, and Chris Stowe, Product Manager 3D Solutions, Esko; will team up to demonstrate the online, editing and visualization capabilities offered via the integration of CHILI Publisher and WebCenter. They will also reinforce that these functions are not only available to creative planning, design, and production staff; but to all stakeholders, including end-users such as brand owners.
How the Integration Works
Stakeholders are able to open packaging designs to create, edit and modify content using CHILI Publisher technology via Esko WebCenter’s Adobe® Illustrator® plug-in. A brand owner, for instance, can add barcodes, nutrition facts, regulatory compliance data and anything else by simply opening the WebCenter browser window, where he/she can open and edit the targeted file using CHILI Editor. The depth of interaction can be configured according to the needs of the end-user and specific job.
“The ongoing collaboration between CHILI Publish and Esko is highly successful,” says Verniest. “We’ve made it easy for the WebCenter owners seeking to reap the benefits of editing and sharing files online by teaming up with Esko, a leading force in the packaging realm, and making this robust platform available.
“Esko is a perfect example of our growing roster of strategic partners,” he continues. “CHILI Publisher goes a long way in enhancing the value and productivity of other applications, and in return we enjoy the honor of being associated with well-known and strategic vendors, their clients, and those clients’ brands.”
CHILI Publisher… Beyond WebCenter
EskoWorld attendees will also see, first-hand, myriad unique features that make award-winning CHILI Publisher so popular.
CHILI Publisher works seamlessly and transparently within a wide range of workflows and production platforms. It is built on four core principles: flexibility, open architecture, consistency across systems and platforms, and a browser-based interface.
CHILI Publisher provides powerful editing capabilities and comes with an extensive feature set that, until now, was only available in dedicated publishing applications. CHILI Publisher is available directly or via integration with these publishing applications, and is fully customizable to each end user’s needs.
System integrators can choose how to incorporate CHILI Publisher within workflows, whether for web-to-print, magazine publishing, packaging, brand management, yearbook applications, or other environments.
