Recently honored by the Canadian Franchise Association (CFA) for high franchise partner satisfaction, FASTSIGNS International Inc.—the worldwide franchisor of more than 550 FASTSIGNS sign, graphics, and visual communications centers—is committed to expanding its presence throughout Canada.
As part of its franchise growth strategy, the franchise will be exhibiting at Booth No. 237 at the National Franchise and Business Opportunities Show, September 6-7 in Toronto. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with FASTSIGNS representatives to discuss the franchise buying process and learn more about the company’s proven business model, high franchise partner satisfaction rankings and special financing program for military veterans.
With twenty-six centers throughout Canada and an additional five new locations currently under development, FASTSIGNS is looking for independent business owners interested in joining FASTSIGNS through its Conversion and Co-Brand programs for as little as $10,000 down in addition to reduced royalties. The franchisor is also searching for a Quebec entrepreneur to lead expansion in the market as its master franchise partner or as an area developer to open new centers. This partner will lead franchise procurement in the market to help FASTSIGNS increase its presence by adding fifteen new centers.
Overall FASTSIGNS plans to add Co-Brand, Conversion and new center partners in the following target markets throughout Canada: Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, the Greater Toronto area, and Saskatchewan.
“We’ve been building successful centers and franchise partner relationships in Canada for the past twenty years and plan to expand on this success through focused growth efforts and offering a variety of franchise opportunities for Canadian entrepreneurs,” stated FASTSIGNS EVP of Franchise Support & Development Mark Jameson.
FASTSIGNS franchise partners benefit from joining one of the leading brands in the sign and graphics industry, giving them access to up-to-date information on the latest technology, cost savings through relationships with national vendors and suppliers, comprehensive marketing and visual communications solutions and the support that comes from networking with FASTSIGNS centers across the country.
Bob Ramsden, owner of FASTSIGNS in Mississauga, Ontario, has been with FASTSIGNS since 2005 and says that he is continually impressed by the franchise and its clear communication channel with the corporate office. “After many years in the corporate world, it’s great to have open, two-way communication and an honest CEO who is transparent with franchisees,” he said. “We regularly communicate about the business performance, financial expectations and brand positioning, among other things. This is refreshing to have in such a large franchise system.”
Ramsden isn’t the only one who has recognized FASTSIGNS’ open and transparent flow of communication with franchise partners. The franchisor was recently recognized by the CFA for high franchisee satisfaction as the Silver recipient of its 2014 Award of Excellence in Franchising in the Traditional – Mature Category. FASTSIGNS was also named a Franchisees’ Choice designee for the third consecutive year. The Franchise Research Institute and Franchise Business Review have also recently recognized FASTSIGNS for outstanding franchisee satisfaction and support.
