At 230 pages, the price list is Gemini’s most comprehensive signage catalog to date with prices effective through April 2014.
The publication of the catalog is also significant because it coincides with the company’s fiftieth anniversary. To mark this important milestone, Gemini commissioned nationally renowned artist Rick Kollath to design twelve unique pieces of art that show how the company’s various products have been used throughout history. The illustrations are featured at the front of each product section.
While this year’s catalog features many new products and options, the most important changes are the numerous price reductions on many popular product lines, including flat cut metal letters, cast bronze and brass letters, fabricated letters, and bronze and brass plaques. In addition to these price reductions, Gemini has also lowered its overall pricing on standard cast and formed type styles with a simplified group pricing structure.
New products include plaque stand-offs and blanks, laser-engraveable 3030 Green Glass Acrylic, detachable studs, and Gemini’s new Duets Engraving Stock. Gemini is also offering a new 316 stainless steel alloy for its fabricated letter line that offers greater corrosion resistance and several new finishes for fabricated letters including Vibration, Perforated, and Random Arc.
Another new feature to Gemini’s product lines includes a significant cast aluminum alloy upgrade. With the publication of the 2013 Professional Signage Catalog, Gemini announced that its cast aluminum products are now being manufactured using Aluminum Alloy 514 — a grade of aluminum that offers higher ductility, excellent corrosion resistance and outstanding impact toughness. It is also more eco-friendly than previous aluminum alloys.
