Global Imaging introduced its newest software partner, Tucanna, at its recent Workflow Studio VIP event, which was attended by over sixty printing and textile business owners and manufacturer’s reps from fourteen states across the country.
“Not only was this our biggest event yet, but we changed the format to showcase the equipment in a more efficient and effective way,” said Tara Lamb, president of Global Imaging. Rather than have one big presentation followed by various equipment demos, the attendees were divided into smaller groups and taken through the studio by a group leader who gave a presentation followed by an equipment demo. “It allowed our vendors to showcase the equipment more fully and the attendees to get exposure to every piece of equipment or software that we have in the Studio, resulting in a more complete presentation of the entire workflow,” Lamb said.
The event also served as a great opportunity to feature Global’s new software partner, Tucanna, the latest in prepress workflow automation software for digital print. “Tucanna was brought to our attention by our customers who have been incorporating it into their systems. Their product, tFLOW® is an advanced digital and large format automation workflow that simplifies difficult file management tasks and optimizes efficiency and production throughput. It easily integrates with most computer programs currently in use which makes it a great choice for our customers,” Lamb said.
