HP Releases Production Coroplus Board

New offering provides outdoor corrugated option without the need for a flatbed printer.

Last month HP Large Format Print Media released a corrugated sign solution: HP Production Coroplus Board. Historically, corrugated signs have been printed on flatbed printers in mass quantities. This product provides an alternative substrate that can print rigid, corrugated signs in on-demand quantities on HP PageWide XL Pro printers.

“HP Production Coroplus Board opens the short-term, outdoor rigid sign market to reprographic print shops and other print providers who do not own flatbed printers but would like to offer outdoor corrugated signs to their customers,” says Tony Sary, BMG Senior Product Director for HP Large Format Print Media. “Print providers no longer have to outsource rigid board sign requests or interrupt workflow with impromptu, short-run projects. HP Production Coroplus Board with the HP PageWide XL Pro printer provides a hybrid job delivery environment, producing multiple deliverables such as boards, banners and posters from one printer.”

Available in pre-cut retail packs, HP Production Coroplus Board requires little to no set-up and produces small-run, short-term outdoor corrugated signage on high-speed HP PageWide XL Pro printers.

The substrate is REACH compliant and mountable on traditional H stakes or grommeted for rigid hanging sign applications. Lightweight yet durable, the product is suitable for real estate, construction, election, retail and event signage applications.
