Richard Childress, a championship NASCAR figure and race team owner, has earned 205 NASCAR victories and 15 championships through the past 45 years. After making his NASCAR Sprint Cup racing debut at the age of 23 as a driver in the 1969 Talladega 500, Childress went on to make 285 starts behind the wheel earning 76 top-10 finishes. In 1981, he stepped aside from the driver’s seat to assume primary ownership of Richard Childress Racing (RCR), which has gone on to become one of most successful organizations in NASCAR history. So, who better to deliver the keynote at imagiNATION 2014, Roland’s very first inkjet user conference, October 21 in Las Vegas?
At imagiNATION 2014, Childress will discuss how he built his business, obstacles he overcame along the way, and where he found the motivation that enabled him to rise up to the top of his industry.
“These are key aspects of business that every professional can relate to,” noted Roland President Rick Scrimger. “We are honored to have Richard as our keynote speaker, and we’re sure all of our imagiNATION 2014 attendees will be inspired by what he has to share. Our hope is that those participating in imagiNATION will walk away not only with renewed motivation, but also with valuable success strategies they can apply within their own businesses.”
Co-located with this year’s SGIA Expo, imagiNATION 2014 will provide attendees with a wealth of useful information through sixteen educational workshops created specifically for Roland users. The informative, interactive classes, conducted by well-known and respected industry experts, are designed to help owners get the most out of their equipment, discover new ideas and applications, and increase the overall success of their operations.
Gold Sponsor partners Aberdeen Fabrics, Inc., CGS, Digital Blanks, GMG Color, and X-Rite, will be leading some of the workshops at imagiNATION 2014, and will also be available throughout the event to interface with users and answer questions.
“We greatly appreciate the participation and contributions of all of the sponsors helping to ensure that our very first imagiNATION inkjet user conference will be a productive and memorable experience for everyone involved,” said Scrimger.
Along with the educational sessions, imagiNATION 2014 will include two meals, as well as a post-event cocktail reception featuring additional inspirational experiences, prize-winning opportunities, and more.
