VersaCAMM Training has expanded to include a vehicle wrap class, which has been added to its existing 101 courses offered once a month at the shop of Seaglass Logowear in Clifton Park, New York.
The all-day sessions, led by Steven Jackson, education and major accounts sales representative at Imprintables Warehouse, offers a wealth of information on all aspects of creating and applying a wrap to a vehicle. The next class is scheduled for August 30-31.
The class will include how to download a pro vehicle template and import it into CorelDRAW. Then step by step, Jackson will show how to create layers that the designer can use to create vehicle graphics.
Once the graphics file is prepared, Jackson will discuss the proper materials to use and how to output the graphics on the VersaCAMM. Finally he will demonstrate how to apply the vehicle wrap to a car.
The class is geared to owners of a Roland VersaCAMM or VS-300, units that print using solvent-based inks and then contour cut each image.
The two-day class costs $595.
