Kiian Digital has chosen FESPA CHINA 2015 (21-23 October 2015 – Booth N1166) to launch Digistar Evo, a brand-new dye-sublimation ink developed for EPSON print heads.
Digistar Evo offers remarkable printability for printers equipped with 2 DX7 print heads, providing customers with market leading benefits including high definition print, a wide colour gamut and fast drying. Alex Yao, Kiian Digital China, Sales and Marketing Manager said, “Digistar Evo has been designed specifically for the Chinese textile market, demonstrating once again, Kiian Digital’s great attention to local market needs.”
FESPA China also provides the opportunity to present the ink portfolio recently launched for RICOH print heads, including GEN-5. Tailored for specific textile market segments they include: DIGISTAR TEX-R, DIGISTAR AIR, DIGISTAR WR-500 and DIGISTAR TUNE. The new ink set joins the DIGISTAR GEN-R range launched last year. “We are living in a dynamic time where the demand for high-speed production is growing. We have great expectations for our new inks developed for RICOH heads.” said Alessandra Borghi, Kiian Digital Sales Director.
New Kiian Digital Ricoh range includes:
- DIGISTAR TEX-R – Digital pigment ink for textile printing, ideal for direct printing onto natural and synthetic fabrics (medium-large format). Excellent light fastness and good resistance to washing.
- DIGISTAR AIR – Transfer dye-sub ink ideal for light and low coated papers and reproduction of a wide colour space. Excellent for long runs and reduced operating costs.
- DIGISTAR WR-500 – Digital ink for sublimation transfer printing with Ricoh GEN-5’ heads onto light and/or low coated papers. Ideal for transfer printing onto synthetic fabrics (polyester) and onto blended fibres (minimum 80 percent polyester).
- DIGISTAR TUNE – Dye sub ink for direct printing, ideal for direct printing onto synthetic fibres (polyester). It has excellent general fastness; light, outdoor exposure and rubbing (if post-treated).
Complying with the most important textile standards and approved by the worldwide Textile System, Kiian Digital’s participation at FESPA China will also enable the company to reinforce its portfolio’s suitability for the Chinese market. “Compliance with global standards is increasingly important to our customers, and in turn, the end consumer,” observed Martin Swift, JK Group Corporate Development Director.
