Laminators Inc., appoints Jay Thorpe as its new Western Regional Sales Manager for their thriving Sign Division. Due to the high-demand of sign products continuing to grow in the west coast region, Laminators opted to hire an additional regional manager to focus solely on the northwest and southwest states, which includes, but is not limited to Washington, Oregon, California, Colorado, Arizona, and Nevada.
As regional manager, Thorpe is responsible for performing field promotional work and relationship management to sell and develop new business. This includes working with current major accounts as well as developing new territories and new industries.
Some of Thorpe’s main responsibilities consist of demonstrating products/services and providing product application advice to the customer, as well as coordinating company technical engineering services to develop solutions for the customers’ needs. He will play a key role in increasing the regions’ sales volume and profitability.

Thorpe has a combined thirty-six years of experience in many levels of sales and management including Business Development Manager, Director of Sales and National Sales Manager at companies such as Avery Dennison, 3M, and RTape. He holds a Master of Education (M.Ed) degree and Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Educational/Instructional Technology from The College of New Jersey in Ewing, New Jersey.
