In an effort to obtain information more quickly, applications like this make life easier,” said Randy Mertz, president of ORACAL. “This is part of an ongoing effort to interact more closely with our customers and make information more accessible.”
The app includes a Twitter feed to keep users informed about new products, wrap academies, contests, giveaways, and much more. Users can also choose to tweet about their own experiences and projects using ORACAL vinyl.
Also included is an integrated Google maps that helps users find an authorized ORACAL distributor. Based on GPS coordinates, users can search for a distributor based on their exact location, by state or country. Google-based maps or lists provide distributor contact information, point-to-point driving directions, and with a click of a link, allow them to visit the distributor Web site for additional information.
