Marabu North America is pleased to announce that it has been recognized again by SC Biz News as one of South Carolina’s top 20 fastest-growing companies, this time in the large business category.
In 2012, Marabu North America was awarded the #1 spot in the small business category. This year, Marabu North America moved into the large business category and landed at #13 for the 2013 list.
“This is an exceptional achievement to be recognized in both categories in successive years by the South Carolina business community,” said Marabu North America General Manager Bob Keller. “As we continue to grow, we are grateful to have such a supportive environment that celebrates dynamic businesses.”
SC Biz News publishes both regional and statewide business reports that serve senior level decision-makers across South Carolina. In all, 20 large companies and 20 small companies from across the state were honored at the publisher’s Roaring 20s networking event and reception held on Thursday, October 24, 2013, in Columbia, SC. Chris William, series executive producer and moderator of Carolina Business Review, was master of ceremonies.
For-profit companies headquartered in South Carolina were qualified and ranked according to growth and revenue. Company size was determined by gross revenue of $10 million and less for small companies, and more than $10 million for large companies. SC Biz News said that this formula leveled the playing field between smaller and larger companies within the two categories. Points were awarded based on dollar and percentage increases in South Carolina revenue from years 2011 to 2012. Profiles of the winning companies will be published in the winter issue of SCBIZ magazine.
