GMG Americas, the US-based office of GMG, announces they have opened an office in California to expand their presence on the West Coast. In charge of the facility is Eric Dalton, who was recently appointed Director of Sales, West Region. GMG Americas continues to see growth in the number of companies that have adopted its color management solutions (in particular, GMG OpenColor packaging installations) targeted to a wide range of graphics, printing and packaging companies. The extended product portfolio also requires GMG to offer greater attention to its customers. This has required GMG to better serve its increasing list of West Coast customers, who reside across the country from GMG Americas headquarters. Also, GMG desired a physical presence in the United States’ largest print market. In a 2015 survey, there were 63% more printing companies in California than in New York, the second most populous state for printing establishments.
