Esko has appointed Tony Wiley to president, North America. Wiley will direct a well-structured organization with direct sales operations overseeing Eastern, Central and Western regions in the US, as well as a group in Canada. He joined Esko in 1999, assuming roles of increasing responsibility over the past fifteen years. He successfully led the North American Customer Service organization for ten years and most recently served as vice president, US Central Region Sales, for the past five years. Steve Bennett will replace Wiley as vice president, US Central Region Sales. Bennett most recently held the role of vice president, Digital Finishing Business. He brings to this new role considerable knowledge of printing applications including wide format inkjet, workflow solutions, and computer to plate technology –combined with a solid marketing background focused on creating strong brand awareness and product loyalty. Parallel with this organizational change, Esko is forming an autonomous business organization in Latin America, driven by Esko Vice President, Latin America, Ernande Ramos. This will allow Esko to react more specifically to the unique market dynamics of Central and South America.

Manitex Inc. has named David Soriano to oversee the Documentation and Technical Writing department. Soriano will relinquish his duties as Customer Service manager to Bob Bray. Soriano has over 25 years of experience with Manitex cranes and has agreed to focus on streamlining and updating Manitex documents.
SIMONA America Inc. has acquired Laminations Inc., a US manufacturer of high-density polyethylene and fluoropolymer sheet products and lining laminates. The acquisition provides SIMONA with a broader range of products and production methods as well as more production capacity to capitalize on the potential for growth in the North American market.
