Drytac Canada has hired Brian Gibson as technical services manager. He will be responsible for technical support and training for Drytac’s line of finishing equipment. Gibson previously worked for Seal and brings over twenty-five years of experience in the print industry to his new position.
The Digital Signage Federation announces its 2015 Board of Directors. Ken Goldberg, CEO, Real Digital Media becomes the 2015 chairman and Kimberly Sarubbi, president, Saddle Ranch Digital, the 2014 chairman will now head the Past Chairman’s Council. Moving into the vice chair role is Randy Dearborn, MGM Resorts International, and Richard Ventura, NEC Display Solutions will join the Executive Committee as treasurer/secretary. Halco Lighting Technologies has hired Deepsy Patel as senior graphic designer. Patel is responsible for the functional leadership of the graphics team. She previously worked at Watts Water Technologies. Halco has also hired Ed Mackiewicz as product manager, Commericial Fixtures. Mackiewicz is responsible for managing the Commercial Fixture product line at Halco and growing the business. He most recently worked at Acuity Brands Lighting.
Mutoh America, Inc. has added Matt Bartlett as regional manager for Canada. Bartlett will grow sales and brand awareness throughout the Canadian market, as well as develop and cultivate relationships with the Mutoh distribution network. He brings over twenty years of experience in the wide format industry to his new position, and he most recently worked for UniSource.
Ultraflex Systems Inc. has appointed Terry Amerine as director of marketing. Amerine previously spent more than seventeen years at Fujifilm Graphic Systems primarily in marketing.
