Drytac has acquired adhesive coating company Multi-Tac Inc. Multi-Tac operates two coating lines and serves a number of markets including flexible packaging, graphic arts, and unique label and tape applications. The acquisition will result in improved efficiencies, greater flexibility, and shorter development time from customer concept to finished product. In addition to a comprehensive range of branded and OEM films and adhesives, Drytac can now offer aqueous, solvent, and hot melt coatings. The company can also adhesive and top coat up to 61 inches wide.
Laminators Incorporated announces new hires during its 50th anniversary year. Steve Derrah joined as new plant manager and will oversee the daily operations of Laminators’ manufacturing, quality assurance, and shipping departments. Derrah has over twenty years of experience in the commercial construction and sign manufacturing industries. Sharon Hutchins was hired as human resource manager and brings over seven years of human resource experience to Laminators. Mark Sidlar was added as sales support engineer and will provide technical support on customer-specific projects and details. Sidlar has over fourteen years of experience in the construction industry. Brian Wasser was promoted to customer relations manager. With previous experience in the commercial construction field and extensive product knowledge, Wasser is responsible for handling accounts in the Midwest and South Central regions. Greg Wagner assumes the newly created position in the engineering/take-offs division, providing estimates and take-offs to Laminators’ entire architectural business customer base. Wagner has been with the company for over thirty-five years in various positions.
