Hexacomb® will open a new manufacturing facility in central Mexico in the state of Querétaro. The new site will help to meet increased demand in Mexico for Hexacomb products. The company expects the site to be operational in the third quarter of 2013.
MaxLite® has appointed Francisco Garza to product marketing manager. Garza will help design and launch new lighting fixtures, lamps, ballasts, and controls, as well as modify existing products in the line. Interfacing with MaxLite’s R&D, marketing, product development, design, and sales teams, Garza will create new linear fluorescent and LED high bay and outdoor fixtures. Garza brings over 20 years of experience to his new position and previously worked for Philips-Crescent/Stonco Lighting.
Next Wave Media Solutions has hired Steve Urmano as vice president of Hardware & Marketing. Next Wave was established in 1999 and is one of the U.S.’s fastest growing digital textile systems integrator. Next Wave only sells Mimaki printers but will soon announce a high-end, wide format hardware offering. In addition, the company is about to launch an OEM bulk dye-sub ink program with Mimaki and will be featuring Mimaki’s higher speed TX500 series high-speed wide format printer line. Urmano will keep his eyes open to new and complimentary product offerings, especially in the industrial surface decorating area. Urmano previously worked for Mimaki USA.
