This summer, Yonkers, New York added a new LED display to the city. Dubbed “Yonkers-Tron,” the video board, made by SNA Displays, is a part of a mayoral communications initiative. It measures 16-feet-6-inches high and 26-feet-3-inches wide.

Yonkers Engineering Department handled the installation of the board, according to Digital Signage Today.

“Yonkers-Tron welcomes all to our waterfront district and serves as another platform to inform and educate our residents about what’s happening in our city,” Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano said in a press release. “This LED display sign utilizes the latest technology to inform the public about matters of public safety and quality of life. All they have to do is look up.”
