OSI Creative, a leading provider of global supply chain managed solutions for point-of-purchase (POP) displays, consumer product packaging, and branded merchandise programs, announced it has signed an agreement to purchase the assets of New Dimensions Research Corp. (NDR), a Long Island, New York-based full-service designer and manufacturer of dynamic displays and merchandising for leading consumer brands. The transaction is expected to close in early February 2019.
“The agreement with NDR is a significant milestone in our growth strategy that will increase our presence in the strategic East Coast market,” said Joe Baksha, President and CEO of OSI Creative. “Building a strong geographic presence is critical in developing mutually-rewarding customer relationships and fostering in-person collaboration in designing and executing retail branding programs that drive consumer interaction and product sales. Key employees of NDR will remain with the organization.”
Baksha said the agreement will not only enable OSI to provide its unparalleled service to current and potential new customers of both companies, but will also expand its purchasing power with supplier and manufacturing partners.
“OSI has quadrupled its sales over the past 10 years, while the industry has continued to shrink. We attribute our success to the creativity and dedication of our team, along with our ability to make strategic acquisitions that expand our size and scope,” said Baksha.
For nearly 60 years, NDR has created award-winning displays and POP programs for the world’s top brands. The company has received over 150 awards for its unique designs and is consistently recognized by the industry for its quality displays.
“We are thrilled to be joining OSI Creative,” said Jeff Mason, President of NDR. “OSI has done a tremendous job developing and designing original POP programs for clients across the U.S. We know our customers will benefit from our combined industry expertise and excellent customer service.”
“This is an exciting step for our company, our clients and our key employees. We look forward to joining the OSI Creative team and continuing to work with our clients to help them achieve their business objectives,” added Tim Mason, CEO of NDR.
