On Wednesday March 20 at the PIA-Long Island Innovation Forum at the Holiday Inn Plainview in Plainview, New York, the Sustainable Green Printing Partnership (SGP) will share insight into sustainability printing practices with members of the Long Island and New York metro graphic communications community.
Customers, printers, and suppliers will have the opportunity to speak to SGP board member Doreen Monteleone (pictured) and learn how to best incorporate sustainable measures into their operations.

The Sustainable Green Printing Partnership is a non-profit organization providing sustainability certification in the graphic communications industry. The organization promotes reducing the environmental impact and increasing the social responsibility through sustainable green printing practices.
To receive SGP Certification, print facilities go well beyond compliance with applicable local, state, and federal laws. They establish sustainability management systems, implement best practices, and commit to continuous improvements in sustainability. Certified facilities are also required to report on progress annually.
