Signs Now Announces 2014 Scholarship Recipients

In 2014, Signs Now again partnered with the Electronic Document Scholarship Foundation (EDSF), an international, non-profit organization dedicated to the document management and communications industries, to administer five new scholarships totaling $10,000 for the 2014 academic year. The scholarships will support students who are preparing for careers in the printing and document communications industries.

The awards were established as part of a recognition program to honor Signs Now franchise members for outstanding achievements.

“More than ever before, our industry is in need of bright, talented and energetic people,” explained EDSF Executive Director Brenda Kai. “With the financial support of Signs Now, they are playing an important role in helping to continue programs that focus on students starting their industry careers.”

The scholarships were awarded based on scholastic achievement, honors received and participation in school activities, along with community service and organizational affiliations. Eligibility requirements include a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale and full-time student status.
