Sir Speedy Tacoma, a printing, signage and marketing services company within Franchise Services Inc., leverages HP Latex and Scitex Printing technology as well as HP WallArt to produce unique signage and wall décor. They are demonstrating innovative new wall covering possibilities for the corporate, education, healthcare and retail design markets displayed at the Catalyst Loft, a pilot design space for the architect and design community.
The Catalyst Loft, a new venture by Business Interior Northwest (BiNW) and furniture dealer Herman Miller, created by Venture Brands, a leader in pioneering new markets, offers architects and designers a high-performing “living office” experience complete with wall designs installed by Sir Speedy Tacoma. The Catalyst Loft, located in downtown Seattle, Washington, will become a destination for innovative companies looking to improve employee collaboration, architectural firms and design agencies seeking innovative approaches for holistic workspace solutions and so much more.
Sir Speedy Tacoma and the Catalyst Loft team are using the space to illustrate the limitless décor possibilities enabled by HP Latex printing technology, highlighting its certifications, such as GREENGUARD GOLD, UL ECOLOGO and Type II, that allow HP Latex prints in highly sensitive environments, such has hospitals and high-traffic hotels, restaurants and offices. Additionally, the HP WallArt solution, an easy-to-use, cloud-based web service that provides print-ready files and step-by-step installation instructions, allows print service providers, such as Sir Speedy Tacoma, to design on their own or work with customers through the cloud to produce customized interior décor applications, including mounted canvas prints and wall coverings.
“At Sir Speedy, we see great possibilities at the intersection of digital printing and interior design for wall coverings, framed canvases and window shades among other décor applications,” said Jim Brebner, owner and operator, Sir Speedy Tacoma. “Equipped with our HP Latex 260 and 360 Printers, our HP Scitex FB700 Industrial Printer and the expertise offered by the broader Catalyst Loft team, we hope to share innovative new décor opportunities with the design community.”
